At Alpha Aquatics Academy, swimming isn’t just our profession — it’s our passion. Founded by two directors with over a decade of experience in swim instruction and competitive swimming, our academy is built on knowledge, care, and a deep belief in the power of learning to swim.
With backgrounds as competitive swimmers themselves, our leadership team understands firsthand the physical, emotional, and lifelong benefits of strong swimming skills. That insight drives everything we do — from how we teach, to the environment we create for our swimmers.

Our directors bring years of hands-on experience teaching children and adults of all ages and abilities. We know what works, and we tailor every lesson to ensure each swimmer feels confident and supported in their development.
Expert Teaching Team
Every instructor at Alpha Aquatics Academy is fully qualified, holding Swim England or STA Level 2 teaching awards. All staff are DBS-checked and trained in safeguarding and first aid, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism and safety. We also utilise CPD and in house training to further develop our staff.
We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that are structured, safe, and enjoyable. Our small group sizes and structured Learn to Swim programme help every swimmer reach their full potential — at their own pace.
