Children’s Learn to Swim Programme (4+)
£39 per month
Give your child the confidence, skills and technique to become a capable, independent swimmer.
At Alpha Aquatics Academy, our small-group lessons provide individual attention, structured progression and supportive teaching from beginners through to advanced swimmers.
With a maximum of five swimmers per class — and normally just four in Stages 1 and 2 — our qualified teachers can focus on each child’s individual development. Teachers are in the water through Stage 5, providing practical guidance, encouragement and support.
What makes Alpha different? Smaller classes, more active learning time and a genuine focus on developing strong swimming technique and lifelong water confidence.
Adult Swimming Lessons
£39 per month
It’s never too late to learn to swim, build confidence or improve your technique.
At Alpha Aquatics Academy, our adult swimming lessons provide a welcoming, supportive environment for swimmers of different abilities, from complete beginners taking their first steps in the water to those looking to refine their strokes.
Our small classes allow teachers to provide individual guidance, helping you develop water confidence, improve breathing and coordination, and build effective swimming technique at a pace that suits you.
Whether you’re overcoming a fear of water, learning an essential life skill or returning to swimming after years away, we’re here to help you feel confident, comfortable and capable in the pool.

Private 1:1 Swimming Lessons – Children & Adults
£100 per month
Personalised swimming lessons designed entirely around you or your child’s individual needs, ability and goals.
At Alpha Aquatics Academy, our private 1:1 lessons provide dedicated, uninterrupted attention from a qualified swimming teacher, allowing every session to focus on the skills that matter most.
Whether your child needs additional support with water confidence, is working towards mastering a particular swimming stroke, or you’re an adult learning to swim for the first time, lessons are tailored to build confidence, improve technique and support meaningful progress.
What makes Alpha different? Individualised teaching, focused technical feedback and a supportive approach that allows swimmers to develop at their own pace.
2:1 Private Swimming Lessons
£150 per month
Enjoy the benefits of personalised swimming instruction while learning alongside a friend, sibling or family member.
At Alpha Aquatics Academy, our private 2:1 lessons provide a supportive learning environment for two swimmers sharing a dedicated swimming teacher. Sessions are tailored to their individual abilities and goals, allowing both swimmers to receive focused guidance, encouragement and technical feedback.
Whether building water confidence, developing essential swimming skills or refining stroke technique, our teachers adapt each lesson to support meaningful progress for both swimmers.
What makes Alpha different? Just two swimmers per teacher, personalised instruction and the opportunity to learn together without the distractions of a larger group.
Ideal for: Siblings, friends, couples or family members of similar swimming abilities who would enjoy learning together.
How Payment Works
Initial Payment
When you first enrol, your initial payment covers any remaining scheduled lessons in your joining month, plus your first full monthly payment for the following month.
For example, joining on 21st November means paying for any remaining November lessons and your December membership.
Monthly Payments
Payments are collected on the 7th of each month, one month in advance.
For example:
- 7th December pays towards January.
- 7th January pays towards February.
- 7th February pays towards March.
Payments can be made by card or Direct Debit.
Why We Charge Monthly
Our lesson fees are annualised and divided into 12 equal monthly payments.
Your monthly fee stays the same regardless of how many lessons fall within a particular month, including during school holidays.
This makes budgeting easier and keeps your swimming place reserved throughout the year.
Important Information About Your Membership
Your monthly payment reserves your swimmer’s place, not a set number of lessons each month.
Our fees are calculated across the swimming year and divided into 12 equal monthly instalments. Payments therefore continue throughout school holidays and months with fewer scheduled lessons.
This ensures consistent, predictable payments for families and allows us to maintain small class sizes, qualified teachers and continuity in your child’s swimming development.
Important Booking & Membership Terms
Please read before booking your swimming lessons.
- Missed lessons: We do not offer refunds, credits or catch-up sessions for lessons missed due to holidays, birthdays, illness, school events or other personal commitments.
- School holidays: Monthly payments continue throughout the year, including during scheduled breaks. Fees are annualised over 12 equal payments, not charged per lesson.
- Facility or provider cancellations: If Alpha Aquatics Academy is unable to deliver a scheduled lesson, an appropriate credit or alternative session will be offered in accordance with our terms and conditions.
- Payment deadlines: Payments are due on the 7th of each month. If payment remains outstanding for seven days, your swimming place may be released.
- Cancelling your membership: Four weeks’ written notice is required, in accordance with our membership terms.
